		had fulfilled contracts for H. M. Government and the
		West Derby Board of guardians and that these facts had
		satisfied us as to their ability to carry out the contract
		entrusted to them by us and that such contract having
		been entered into we felt, whilst regretting that there should
		be a difference between the Contractor and the Society, we
		were unable to interfere in such dispute.

		The Secretary reported the circumstances under which
		the forwards v Oldham Athletic on Saturday last were
		selected.

		The match v Oldham was reported.

		An application for a match between a team representing
		H. M. S. Invincible and a team representing the Pals
		Battalion in aid of the Widows and children of killed
		and wounded soldiers of Liverpool was granted for any
		day in the first or second weeks of April.

		The use of the ground was granted to the Liverpool Football
		Hospital Cup competition for a Charity match on the
		morning of Easter Monday.
