The Secretary reported his visit to Southport and
that Wareing had accepted the employment found
for him in Liverpool and proposed to reside here
and play for us.
That Parker had after considerable trouble and much
influence obtained a situation in a shell making
factory in Glasgow and that under these circumstances
he proposed to remain in Glasgow and play, if we
approved, as an Amateur for Queens Park.
It was resolved that subject to the approval of the
League and F.A. such consent be granted.
The question was raised as to whether the rail fares
of such players coming to Liverpool from their homes
should be paid by the Club and it was resolved that
such expenses be defrayed by the Club.
