The Secretary reported having heard that the
Salvage Association had inquired from Liverpool F.C.
the terms on which they would rent their ground for
the storage of cotton. That on inquiry from Liverpool
that Club had decided to do nothing.
The Secretary was instructed to write the Cotton Association
on the matter with a view of offering them our practice
ground for this purpose and afterwards to confer with
the Chairman and Mr. Davies and that they have
powers to act.
An application from the chief of the Soldiers & Sailors
Family Association (Q District) for the use of our practice
ground during the summer months was declined.
