The Secretary submitted an application from the
Programme Syndicate for a renewal of their privileges
for season 1914-15 and the consideration thereof was
deferred until next meeting.
McFadyen It was resolved that this player be kept in view and
Preston North End the Secretary instructed to write him to call upon
Dr. Baxter.
The Secretary was instructed to write Newcastle
United F.C. asking the price of Whitson's transfer
and also to write Barnsley again re Downs.
Mr. Coffey reported favourably upon the play of
Wallace Rawson and the Secretary was instructed
to offer him a trial in August.
It was resolved that the Central League be invited
to hold their Annual Meeting in Liverpool and
that the Delegates be entertained to Dinner.
Mr. Green was appointed to receive the Cup and
medals on behalf of the Club.
Annual a/cs The Secretary presented the accounts of the Company
for the year ending April 30th 1914 with the Balance
Sheet and Mr. Herbert Bowler having explained same
it was resolved:-
That the amounts due from sundry debtors be
valued for the purposes of the balance sheet at £45
on open accounts it being reported that this amount
consisted of £25 from Stockport County the balance
due in respect of Gault's transfer and £20 from
Rochdale in respect of Allan's transfer.
