Simpson		The consideration of the engagement of Simpson was
		further deferred.

Honeyman	The Secretary reported his visit to Scotland but could
		not recommend this player on the form displayed.

Chelsea F.C.	The Secretary reported that in estimating our average
		gate at £537.4.6 he had included the holiday matches
		and the Liverpool game. That excluding such holiday
		matches and the Liverpool game and the games played
		on weekdays, numbering 7 in all, the total receipts
		of the remaining 12 games were £5982.7.4 which
		worked out at an average gate of £498.10.7.
		That Chelsea had written offering us £50, pleading
		poverty.
		The Secretary was instructed to write them offering to
		accept the difference between our average gate
		£498.10.7 and the amount actually taken £424.8.2
		namely £74.2.5.

John Page	The Secretary reported that Paisley St. Mirren were
		unable to afford the expense of bringing John Page
		to Scotland for the Charity Ties but hoped to be
		able to play him in the August practice matches.

		The Secretary read a letter from Mr. Arthur Morton
		requesting a concession in respect of his programme
		rent, pleading the disastrous season. It was resolved
		to ascertain what Liverpool proposed to do before replying
		to same.

		The Chairman reported that the Liverpool County
		Association proposed to readjust their Rules relating to
		the division of receipts in the Semi Final and Final
