Draft of the proposed resolution for submission at
the Annual Meeting of the F.A. as follows was approved
and ordered to be sent to the Secretary of the F.A.:-
Addition to Rule 44
In the event of the dismissal of a player from the
field of play the Council shall, at the request of
the Club of which the player is a member, appoint
a Committee to inquire into the circumstances
attending the dismissal of such player and it shall
be competent for the Club at such inquiry to adduce
evidence both oral and written as they may desire,
provided always that such request for the appointment
of a Committee shall be made within 4 days of
the date of such dismissal from the field as aforesaid.
And further that it shall be competent for the Committee
to at the same time inquire into the conduct and
actions of the Referee in connection with the dismissal
of the player.
