Resolved that the Cup team together with
Wareing, Houston and Brown have outings on
Wednesday and Friday and that the Secretary
make the necessary arrangements.
Oldham The Secretary reported that he had received a
Athletic request for the payment of £60 the consideration
agreed to be paid by us to Oldham Athletic F.C.
in order to enable Bradford City and ourselves to
fix up our undated fixtures for Christmas and
Boxing day respectively. That Bradford City
had agreed to pay Oldham Athletic a similar
amount.
The Secretary reported that he had noticed that
Oldham Athletic's gate on Boxing day was the largest
gate that they had had during the season. That
as the arrangement by Bradford City and ourselves to
pay the £60 each was made on the basis of the
statement made by the Oldham Athletic Secretary
that Boxing Day was no better to them than an
ordinary week day, he was of opinion that as such
statement was not borne out by the actual facts we
