[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park
April 14th 1914.]
Present All the Directors except Mr. Allman.
Minutes The Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
Nixon The Secretary read a letter from Linfield F. C.
promising to let us know definitely in a few days
whether they would part with the player.
McNeil The Secretary reported that McNeil had been
transferred to Chelsea.
Fox The Secretary reported his telephonic communication
with Mr. O'Rourke and Mr. Green and he were
deputed to visit Bradford tomorrow with powers to
secure this player up to £1700.
Best Sunderland wrote that they had no intention of
transferring this player.
Barnes The Secretary was instructed to write asking Derby
County if they would transfer Barnes.
Kirsopp Mr. Coffey reported his visit to South Liverpool and
that on his play of Saturday last he could not
recommend Kirsopp's engagement at other than
a small salary.
Kirsopp & Mr. Fare recommended that both these players be
Robertson secured for next season and the matter was left in
his hands to see them play and report.
