[Meeting of Directors held at the Goodison Park
April 7th 1914.]
Present All the Directors except Mr. H. Wright.
Minutes The Minutes of last meeting were read &
confirmed.
Reports The Chairman & Mr. Kirkwood reported the
International at Glasgow.
Coleclough Mr. Green & Jno. Fare reported their visit to
& Dexter Crystal Palace ; that Dexter the Coventry
City left back did not play & that the play
of Coleclough did not warrant them in
recommending his engagement.
Davies Cooke reported his visit to see Davie's the
Oswestry outside right play at Bacup:
that he was small : slender & only a
moderate player.
Harrow The Chairman reported his enquiries re
the Chelsea full back Harrow & that Chelsea
would not negotiate for his transfer.
Nixon This Linfield inside right was mentioned
& the Secretary instructed to write Linfield
thereon: Mr. Allman Promised to make some
enquiries whilst in Belfast.
Smith This Crystal Palace centre forward was well
spoken of & it was resolved to see him
play again.
