		[Meeting of Directors held at the Exchange
		Station Hotel, March 23rd 1914.]

Present		All the Directors except Mr. Allman.

Minutes		The minutes of the last meeting were read and
		confirmed.

Young &		The Secretary reported that South Shields Reserve
Benson		were not engaged on Saturday last and that John
		Fare went to see the Newcastle East End match but
		Graham their inside right was not playing.

Dinner &	The Secretary reported the inability of Messrs J. McKenna
Smoker		and E. A. Bainbridge to attend the Dinner.

		The Secretary reported the visit of Mr. Allman and
		himself to Belfast, that Nixon the Linfield inside
		right showed evidence of being a good player but that
		in the game in question his opportunities were few,
		that he was young, of good build and very speedy,
		that he had interviewed the Linfield Secretary who
		was of opinion that his Club would not part with
		him having engaged him for next season and that
		he did not think that the player would cross the
		Channel, but as to the latter he would consult the
		player and write us later.

Ground		The Secretary reported that Mr. Leitch had not as yet
Improvement	submitted his idea of the probable cost of a proposed
Scheme		new Stand on the Bullens Road side of the ground.

		The Trainers made their reports.
