[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park,
March 17th 1914.]
Present All the Directors except Mr. Kelly.
Minutes The minutes of the last meeting were read and
confirmed.
Young & Benson The Secretary reported that up to the present South
Shields Reserve had no engagement for Saturday
next and it was decided that if they had an engage-
ment John Fare was to visit them and report and if not
he was to visit the Newcastle East End match and see
their inside right Graham and report.
The Secretary read a reply from the Rangers F. C. in answer
to his letter re Simpson that they would consider the
matter a little later.
Dinner & The Secretary reported that Dr. Whitford had expressed
Smoker his inability to be present.
The Chairman reported Mr. Davies' selection of presents
and it was resolved that the Chairman and Secretary
of the Liverpool F. C. be invited to the functions.
The Secretary reported that he had received no reply
from Swansea or Reading re Brannick.
That the Liverpool County Combination match was fixed
for Ormskirk instead of Prescot.
Friendly The Secretary submitted an offer from Hamilton
matches Academicals for a match at Hamilton on Wednesday.
