[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park,
January 13th 1914]
Present All the Directors except Messrs Allman & Baxter.
Minutes The minutes of Decr. 30th, January 2nd & 9th were
read and confirmed.
Chedgzoy The Secretary reported that Chedgzoy had been
discharged from the Bolton Infirmary and that
the latest examination had disclosed that the injury
he suffered from was torn thigh muscles and not a
fracture of the pelvis. That Chedgzoy had spent
the week with the rest of the players at Blackpool
and had derived considerable benefit there from.
Mrs. Williams It was decided that the donation of £10 be handed
to the Chairman instead of to Mr. McCleavey.
Pickett The Chairman reported that his friend was unable to
see Pickett play at Pontypridd.
The query as to the affiliation of the Leagues entered
for the "Councillor Walker Charity Cup" had not up
to the present been answered.
Houston The Secretary reported that Houston was unfit to play
and that he had wired the Irish F.A. that he would
not be available for them on Monday next.
The question of expenses of friends of Directors accompanying
the team to away matches was considered and it was
resolved that the expenses of such persons shall not be
defrayed out of the Club's funds but the Director
