John Fare reported that he visited Halifax on January 1st and that Harrison the inside right of Doncaster Rovers was again left out of the team and from inquiries he found that misbehaviour during the Christmas holidays was the cause of this. John Fare reported that he visited Stoke on January 3rd and that Woodward who was reported as an inside right of Aberdare played outside right and was very poor, being only 5'6" in height and not above 10 stone.
