[Emergency Meeting of Directors held at the
Bradford Hotel, November 25th 1913.]
Present All the Directors except Mr. Kirkwood.
Parker The Secretary reported that the deputation had
agreed with Glasgow Rangers for the transfer
of Parker in exchange for the transfer of Fulton
and £500. That Parker however would not
decide until he saw the Rangers Directors on
Wednesday evening. The Secretary was
thereupon instructed to attend the Rangers
meeting with full powers to carry the matter
through.
Webster The Secretary reported his visit to the trial match
at Fulham and that he was not impressed
with the abilities of Webster as exhibited in the
match in question. That he was very favourably
impressed with Hanney the centre half back of
Reading and McFadden the inside left of Clapton
Orient and that Halse of Chelsea played a really
useful game.
Fern John Fare reported his visit to Lincoln and
emphasised the good opinion he formed of Fern
the Lincoln City Goalkeeper and strongly urged
his engagement if possible.
Beare The Secretary reported an inquiry from Liverpool
as to whether we would part with George Beare.
The matter was considered and it was decided that
we would be prepared to exchange Beare for
Keneth Campbell and the Chairman and Secretary
