[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park,
November 19th 1913.]
Present All the Directors except Messrs Allman & Baxter.
Minutes The minutes of the last meeting were read and
confirmed.
Vincent Mr. Coffey reported the visit of himself and the
Secretary to Middlesbrough and the Secretary that
he had arranged for Vincent to come down and
play two trials here with the consent of the North
Shields Football Club. The deputation also
reported their interview with Mr. McIntosh, Secretary
of Middlesbrough F.C., re Bradshaw, and that they
intimated the transfer fee would be about £2000 and
that Middlesbrough desired to see him play on
Saturday next.
Macfarlane John Fare reported his visit to Leeds, that owing to
an early injury to Macfarlane he could not pass
an opinion on this Lincoln City centre forward but
he strongly recommended Fern the Lincoln City
Goalkeeper, he having given a brilliant exhibition
of the game and it was resolved that he see Fern
on Saturday next and again report.
Scraggs The Secretary reported that he had not as yet
received any reply to his letter of inquiry hereon.
Capper Messrs Davies & Green reported their visit to Witton
on Saturday last and recommended that Capper
be seen play again in the near future.
