[Emergency Meeting of Directors held at
the Bradford Hotel, October 30th 1913.]

Present B. Kelly Esq. (Chair)
			Messrs	Coffey
				Green
				Kirkwood
				Wright

The Secretary reported that Manchester City
were in attendance in reply to his letter re
		Browell.

Prior to Mr. Mangnall entering the room the
Directors considered the fee to be placed upon
Browell's transfer and fixed same at £1550.
After further negotiations this sum was reduced
to £1400 and the matter left with the
Secretary to negotiate with Mr. Mangnall.

The Chairman explained to Mr. Mangnall
that since the suspension of Browell in
December 1912, the player had not given the
Board any cause to investigate his mode of
living, that he had attended to his training
regularly and had appeared in all our League
matches to date except when absent through
injury, that he was at present suffering from
a slight temporary disablement but that our
Medical Officer, Dr. Baxter, assured them that
except for this slight injury Browell was
		perfectly sound.
