[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park
October 23rd 1913.]
Present All the Directors except Dr. Baxter
Minutes The minutes of the last meeting and of the Finance
Meeting were read and confirmed.
Fisher & The Secretary reported Frank Jefferis visit to
Penny Sholing Athletic that these players were very fair,
were in quite a junior class of football and that
they were quite unripe for better class football and
it was resolved to do nothing.
The Secretary was instructed to defer making
arrangements with Renton for the proposed visit
until the Spring of the year.
John Fare reported his visit to Choppington and
that this centre forward played very well in
the first half but in the second half was
disappointing but was well worth seeing again.
Langlands Wm. McArthur reported his visit to Inverkeithing
and recommended Langlands of Forfar but as
this player was on Dundee's transfer list at £300
it was resolved to do nothing.
Moore Glossop F.C. having placed £2500 as the price
of Moore's transfer it was resolved to do nothing.
The Secretary reported the death of Alec Brady
and he was instructed to send a letter of sympathy
to the relatives.
