[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison Park
October 1st 1913.]
Present All the Directors except Messrs Allman & Wright.
The Secretary reported that Mr. Wright was laid
aside with an attack of Influenza and was
unable to be present.
Minutes The Minutes of the last meeting were read and
confirmed.
Pickering Messrs Davies & Kelly reported their visit to
Blackpool but could not recommend Pickering.
McNeill Mr. Green and the Secretary reported their visit
to Belfast and that McNeill though a very good
player was too small to be of service to us.
Bury F.C. The Secretary was instructed to ascertain if
Liverpool had considered Bury's application
and to report to the next meeting.
T. E. Harris It was decided to subscribe Ten guineas to the
Testimonial T. E. Harris testimonial fund.
The Trainer made his report.
The League and Central League games were
reported.
John Fare reported his visit to Chester and
recommended that the Nantwich centre half (Clarke)
and the inside right (Blackburn) be kept in view
