Meeting of Directors held at Bee Hotel, April 14 1913
Present All the Directors except Messrs Allman & Baxter.
Minutes The Minutes of last meeting were read &
confirmed.
Griffiths Messrs Davies & Kelly reported their visit to
Shrewsbury & could not recommend this
player.
Womack & Mr. Clayton having reported that Birmingham
Ball would not treat for the transfer of these players
the deputation did not visit Birmingham.
J. Collins The Secretary reported that the F.A. had
registered the transfer of this player from South
Liverpool F.C. to ourselves.
Lamb The Secretary reported his visit to Exeter & that
in his opinion Lamb was not good enough for
us.
Pym That Pym the Exeter goalkeeper did not play
a good game but that Fort the Exeter
Fort right back was very good although on the
small side. Resolved no action be
taken us with. regard to Lamb or Pym.
Turner Mr. Clayton's representative reported that
Turner the goalkeeper of Pontypridd did
very well on Saturday last & it was resolved
that if he could be obtained at a fee of
£25 to Aston Villa (as stated) he be
engaged at £4 per week wish a Bonus of £10.
