League The selection of the representatives to & League Fixtures attend these meeting was deferred until Meeting May 29 next meeting. Representative Dr. Whitford was deputed to attend this to Lanc. Com. meeting. Meeting May 18th Election of Captains & Sub Captns. This matter was deferred until the next Season 1911-1912 meeting. Match advertisers Resolved that we make no departure from that of Season 1911/12 l ast season viz. :- Window, Tram & Railway Bills, but no Posters - Also to advertise in the local papers. Bentley A letter from Derby County was read in which they stated they had had an offer of four figures for their centre - forward and asking us if we would like to negotiate. The Secretary was instructed to ascertain what their rock - bottom price was but that we would not think of paying any thing like four figures.
