[Meeting of Directors held at Goodison
Park August 13 1912]
Present All the Directors except Messrs Clayton
& Coffey.
Minutes The minutes of last meeting were
read & confirmed.
Amateur The Secretary reported that a number
team of applicants had attended for training
& it was proposed to have a sides
game on the 21st inst.
McNair That Mr. Swann had seen Celtic F.C.
hereon who promised to write us, but
he Mr. Swann feared that they would
not part with him.
National The Secretary read the reply to his
Health Insse. letter of June 27 that all professional
football players must be insured, but
reported that the League Management
Committee had advised the clubs not
to insure players earning over £160 per
annum for the present.
That Alcock & Backhouses tender to
paint the supports to the roof of the
goal double decker stand for £25 had
been accepted by Mr. Kelly himself
& same was approved.
