[Meeting of Directors held at Bradford Hotel
May 14 1912.]
Present All the Directors.
Minutes The minutes of two meetings were read
& confirmed.
Houston The Secretary reported that Houston
having written declining to see him he
did not make the journey.
Houston having asked the League to
cancel his registration with us the
Secretary reported that he had sent
the facts to the League & now understood
that the League had declined to inter-
-fere.
The Secretary reported the receipt of
a wire from Linfield requesting us
not to release Houston as he had
been approached by Rangers.
Jarvis The Secretary reported his visit to Glasgow
to see a Junior half back but could
not recommend him.
King He however recommended King the
inside right of Partick Thistle & was
of opinion that £400 or so would
secure him.
Subject to being satisfied as to his
soundness age height & weight Mr.
Kirkwood & he were deputed to visit
Partick to negotiate.
