Bradshaw The Secretary was instructed to add
the following clause to Bradshaw's
agreement.
" If the player shall serve the club faithfully
" & well & by his prowess upon the field of play
" fulfil the requirements of the club then &
" in such case the club will upon the
" completion of five years continuous service
" in the manner aforesaid and subject to the
" approval of the F.A. grant the player a
" benefit match and will guarantee that
" the amount to be received by the player in
" respect thereof shall be £500."
Taylor's Benefit The Secretary reported the consent of the
League to Taylor's benefit.
Davidson and that the League had sent Davidson
a cheque for £42.
Bradbury This matter was left in the hands of Mr.
Clayton.
Gimblett This player's application for a trial was
acceded to.
Third Division The question as to the formation of a
third division was discussed, the
circulars read & considered & it was
resolved to answer the questions
submitted by the League in the
affirmative.
