Turner The Secretary reported an offer of £200 from Preston North End for Turner but it was resolved that not less than £300 be accepted. The Secretary submitted letter from Mr. E. Case suggesting that as the Council of the F.A. were meeting at West Kirby on the 8th prox our club & Liverpool F.C. might desire to take the opportunity of entertaining them on the 9th prox. Resolved that we express our inability to accept the proposed honour: it was reported that L'pool would also decline. The Secretary was instructed to pay Mr. C. Sullivan's a/cs of £1.11.4 & 12/6 for services rendered. L'pool & The arrangement to pool the gross Everton gates of L'pool v Everton Reserves home & away fixtures was continued. The Secretary's action on insuring the painters against accident at a premium of 50/- was confirmed.
