was unanimously resolved that " subject to

"League Clubs we resign from the Lancashire
"Combination and assist informing a new
" League on the lines suggested."
The deputation to London were instructed
to advocate that the League do not consist of
more than 16 clubs and that Aston Villa
Reserves be invited to join.
Davidson The Secretary having reported that he
had arranged to meet the Middlesbro
representatives hereon at London, it
was resolved that the deputation have
power to negotiate up to £500.
Hose Pipe Mr. Kelly & the Secretary were instructed
to purchase the necessary supply of
Hose Pipe for the ground.
Mr. Bainbridge Dr. Whitford proposed Mr. Wilson seconded
and it was unanimously resolved that
The following letter be sent to Mr. Bainbridge
" That we tender to our late colleague
"Mr. E. A. Bainbridge our warm appreciation
