[Meeting of Directors held at Bradford Hotel
26th May 1911]
Present All the Directors except Mr Kirkwood
The Chairman extended a warm welcome to Mr
H. Allman to the Directorate.
Lancashire The Secretary reported the attendance
Combination of Mr Kelly & himself at the Annual
Meeting of the Lancashire F. A. on
Wednesday at Blackpool. That an informal
meeting of the representatives of the League
Clubs in Lancashire who were also members
was held
of the Lancashire Combination ^ and at such
meeting very strong dissatisfaction was expressed
at the treatment meted out to them by the non-
League Clubs of the Lancashire Combination
and that a unanimous desire was expressed
to secede from the Combination and form a
new League. That several of the clubs
present could not pledge their Clubs
respectively without having instructions
and the meeting consequently stood
adjourned until Sunday evening next at 11 pm
at the Imperial Hotel London. That he
(Mr Cuff) had been appointed Honorary
Secretary Pro' Tem. and further that the
non League Clubs had called an emergency
meeting to consider the position and proposed
to send a deputation to such adjourned
meeting.
