		Present John Houlding Esq. in the Chair
		Messrs Berry, Richards, Gunning, Marriott,
		T. Marriott, Fleming, Stockton, Howarth,
		Brooks & Barclay.

		Read and confirmed minutes of last
		meeting.

		Resolved that W. Lewis Bangor be engaged
		to play for the club as an amateur, and
		that Lewis be informed that only his
		return railway fare and reasonable
		expenses would be paid him by the
		club. Lewis was informed of the
		decision of the Committee and expressed
		his willingness to play when he could 
		get away from work in time.

		The following teams selected to play
		v Accrington and v Spring Branch Rovers

		Smalley, Ross,		      Joliffe,
		Dick, Dobson,		Ashcroft, Chadwick,
		JOnes, Holt,		Fayer, Jones,
		Farmer, Chadwick,	Briscoe, Costley,
		Lewis, Fleming, Waugh. 	Falls, Cookson,
					Pollock & Scott.

		The following new members were elected
EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
