		It was unanimously resolved
		that Mr. A. Gibson be discharged for
		refusing to play against the Bootle.
		Reserve team, on Tuesday Evg. Sept
		4th 1888, and that he be allowed his
		release from the English and Lancashire
		Associations, on refunding the money
		paid him for the Summer Season.
		The Chairman (Gibson again being
		present) conveyed to him the terms
		of the resolution and the Secretary
		was instructed to furnish him
		with a copy thereof.

		The following new members were
