			Mr. R Wilson in the chair

Present		Messrs T. Marriott, W. Marriott, Gunning, Berry, Fleming, Jackson,
		Ramsey, Richards, Stockton, & Barclay.

		The minutes of last meeting were read & confirmed.

		Letter read from Mr. R Smalley & as that gentleman was in the
		Building Messrs Wilson & Ramsey were deputed to see him & report
		the result of the interview, this having been done Mr. Berry moved
		& Mr. Howarth seconded that Mr. Smalley's terms be not entertained
		as an amendment. Mr. Ramsey moved & Mr. Stockton seconded that
		Mr. Smalley be engaged - the amendment was lost by eight votes to
		two.

		Mr. Jackson moved & Mr Howarth seconded that the Secretary
		be empowered to engage Keys at a maximum wage of
		fifteen shillings per match. Carried.

		The following new players were elected.
			Harper		6 Burleigh Rd Sth Everton
			W Harbor	3 Schomberg St

		Mr. T. Marriott moved & Mr. Jackson seconded that Mr. Stockton
		be empowered to engage players for the Reserve team at
		a maximum wage of five shillings per match.
EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
