		Nottingham on 8 inst one goal each. Team - Smalley,

		Secretary reported that Bolton Wanderers beat Everton by 1 goal
		to nil at Bolton in first round English Cup Tie. Team
		Jolliffe, Dick, Dobson, Murray, Gibson, Higgins, Farmer,
		Cassidy, Goudie, Watson, Izatt, referee Mr. S. Ormerod. Accrington
		Reserve team beat Newsham Rangers by 12 goals to nil
		Team.

		Passed boots for Goudie, Higgins, Izatt, Weir.

		A deputation waited upon the com to ask for benefit match
		for Bolton Mike hands - it was favourably considered &
		adjourned till 24 inst to see what arrangements can be made.

202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
