Fixtures	P. Card read from G'gow Rangers - declined dates filled.
		Letter read from Sheffield Wednesday requesting dates, each
		club to take its own gates, & giving each other fifteen pounds
		(£15). The Secy instructed to arrange matches.

		The committee decided that the players should start
		practice on Saturday 11th Aug, all players to be notified
		by the Secry.

		Mr. Berry moved & Mr. Jackson seconded that Messrs Stockton
		& Nisbet (who had offered his services) see Mr. R. Smalley over
		late goal keeper & report the result at the next Committee
		meeting. Carried.

		Tenders were opened & read for the proposed ground
		improvements.

		Mr. Berry moved & Mr. Jackson seconded that the best thanks
		of this Committee be tendered to Mr. Hallard for his services
		in drawing up specifications for the proposed ground
		improvements, & that a stand ticket be presented to him
		for the next season. Carried.

		Mr. Ramsey moved & Mr. Stockton seconded that Messrs
		Rutherford, & Elliott be written to notifying them that at
		present, the committee hade decided not to go on with the
		work, but hoped to do so later on in the year. Carried.

		Mr W. Marriott moved & Mr Jackson seconded that the
		proposed ground improvements be not carried out at
		present. Carried.
EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
