		Present John Houlding Esq in the chair
		Messrs Wilson, Jackson, Brooks,
		Fleming, Howarth, Marriott T,
		W. Marriott, Richards, Gunning,
		Stockton, Barclay & Ramsay.

		Read & confirmed the minutes of last meeting.

		The following were elected members - 
		Messrs Fell, Gillam and W. Lewis

		The secretary instructed to arrange
		with Messrs Chadwick, Holden and
		Gillam to play for the club during
		the coming season. Chadwick and
		Holden as professionals at a
		maximum of 35/- & 30/- per month
		respectively.

		The treasurer instructed to pay an
		account for tea etc. (incurred in
		Preston on the understanding
		that Mr Sudell would pay one
		half). Mr Sudell having denied
		any such understanding it was
		resolved to send a copy of the
		a/c to him at the same time
		asking for an explanation.

		Resolved. Colours to be as before.	
EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
