Committee Meeting held Monday Feby 23rd 1891

Present		Messrs Barclay (in the chair) Wilson, Ramsay, Jackson, Coates,
		Williams, Howarth, Clayton, Stockton, Houlding & Dr Baxter.
		The Secretary being away with team at Walsall.

Minutes		of two previous meetings read and confirmed.

Admission	Mr. Ramsay gave notice of motion to rescind the resolution
		on books re 6d gates.

Macfarlane	Resolved that this players application for release be granted
		subject to Agent refunding part of Agency fee.

Players		The Agreements made with A Lochhead and A. Chadwick
		were confirmed by the Committee.

Re. engagement of Resolved that Hammond be offered 20/- per week and McMillan
Players		25/6 per week for next Season, and that the following
		players be notified that their Services will not be required for
		next Season viz Dobson, Creswell, Martin, W.H. Jones, Godwin,
		McGregor, Abbott.

New Player 	Resolved that the selection Committee engage Dowels on
		the best possible terms.

A. Hannah	Resolved that the consideration of this players resignation
		be left over until the end of the Season.

Team	v	Bolton Wanderers - Jardine, McLean, Doyle, Lochhead, Holt, Parry,
		Latta, Brady, Geary, Chadwick & Milward.
	v	Bolton Wdrs Reserve - Angus, Dobson, Creswell, Martin, R. Jones,
		Hammond, Wyllie, Gordon, McGregor, McMillan, Elliott.

EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
