Committee Meeting held Monday Feby 9th 1891

Present		Messrs Barclay (in the chair) Jackson, Williams, Ramsay,
		Currier, Coates, Clayton, Stockton & the Secretary.

Minutes		of last meetings read & confirmed.

Gratuities to	Resolved that the sum of £5 be paid to Holt & Chadwick
Players		for signing forms' and that the sum of 20/- be handed to
		Doyle for this loss.

Players to be	Resolved that the question of signing the following players
re-engaged	for next Season, be brought up  before the General Committee
		at their next meeting viz R. Jones, Hammond, Kirkwood,
		Brady, Hannah, Milward, McMillan, McGregor & 
		Campbell, but that Abbott, W.H. Jones, Dobson, Godwin
		and Creswell be informed that their services will not
		be required after this Season.

Admission on	Resolved that the admission on Saturday next & for all
Saturday	League teams who visit us shall be 6d & that the
		Secretary write to the papers informing them of this
		decision & the reasons for so doing.

		Resolved that the thanks of the committee be given in
		writing to Messrs Sandham & Richards for their information
		re the rumours about Brady etc.

Goal Nets	Resolved that we purchase a set from Mr. Barclay.

New Players	Resolved that we engage two new half back from
		the list of names mentioned on best possible terms.

League Meeting	Resolved that Mr. Barclay represent the club on Friday
		next & the Secretary to accompany him.
EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
