Committee meeting held Tuesday January 13th 1891
Present		J. Houlding Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Barclay, Jackson, Clayton,
		Howarth, Dr. Baxter and the Secretary.

Minutes		of last meeting read & confirmed.

Accounts	Resolved that the action of Mr Barclay in taking players a drive to 
		Woolton be confirmed and that the sum of 20% be refunded to him
		by the Treasurer.

Sunderland match	The Secretary made a statement about some of the players of
		Sunderland not being eligible for Cup ties and it was
		resolved that on those grounds we do not protest.

Charity match	Resolved that we play a match here for the benefit of the
		Accrington Club as requested - the date etc to be arranged.

Players		Resolved that Gordon be engaged for two seasons @ £2 per week.

Jardine		Resolved that we send Jardine to Sunderland on Saturday.

Team	v	Sunderland - Angus. Hannah, Doyle, Kirkwood, Holt, Parry,
		Latta, Geary, Robertson, Chadwick, Milward with McLean &
		Campbell as Reserves.
Team	v	Stanley - Smalley, McLean, Creswell, Martin, R. Jones, Hammond,
		Gordon, Wyllie, McGregor, McMillan, Elliott with Dobson
		and Murray as Reserves.

Geary's request	Resolved that Mr Howarth's action in obtaining money for
		Geary on Saturday last to go to Notts - be confirmed.

EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
