Committee Meeting held Monday Dec 29th 1890

Present		J. Houlding Esq. (in the chair), Messrs Barclay, Coates, Howarth, Williams,
		Jackson, Currier, Clayton, Stockton & the Secretary.

Minutes		of last Meeting read & confirmed.

Xmas Presents	Resolved that the sum of £37.0.0 be paid to players according
		to the list of names & amounts submitted by the Treasurer.

Notts Team	Resolved that we entertain the Notts team & Officials together with
		our own on Saturday next as the Sandon Hotel.

Charity Match	Resolved that the use of the ground and a team, be granted to
		Mr A. Smith for a Pantomime football match - the proceeds to
		be divided between the Royal Infirmary & the Stanley Hospital.
		Messrs Stockton & Molyneux to act as a sub Committee with Mr Smith
		to arrange date & all other matters.

League team	v Aston Villa on Thursday same as played v Accrington.
		v Notts County " Saturday    "     ''    v Burnley.

Everton team	v Southport Central, Earlestown and Manchester.
		Angus, McLean, Creswell, Martin, R. Jones, Hammond, Gordon,
		McGregor, Robertson, McMillan & Elliott.

Cup Tie		Resolved that we offer the sum of twenty Pounds to the Ry Co.
		as an inducement for them to run an excursion to Sunderland.

202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
