Committee Meeting held Monday October 13th 1890
Present Messrs W. E. Barclay (in the chair) Coates, Williams, Clayton,
Ramsay, Howarth, Brooks, Stockton, Dr. Baxter, Mr. Currier & the
Secretary being away representing the Club.
Minutes of last meeting read & confirmed.
Finance Resolved that a Finance Committee be appointed
consisting of Messrs Coates, Fleming & Williams.
Team v Bolton Wanderers- Angus, Hannah, Doyle, Kirkwood, Holt,
Campbell, Gordon, Brady, Geary, Chadwick & Milward.
v Bolton Wanderers Reserve- Smalley, Dobson, Creswell, Parry,
R. Jones, W. Jones, Abbott, McGregor, Hammond, McMillan & Carmen.
Resolved that the offer from the United Distillery Company be
not-entertained.
Team v Stoke Resolved that a Committee meeting be held on Saturday
after the match for selection of team.
League championship Resolved that we offer 12 League players a gold Medal and
Five Pounds each, provided they prove the Champions.
Benefit match Mr. Barclay gave notice of motion for benefit match for
Dick, Farmer & Jolliffe.
