Committee Meeting held Monday 29th Sept/90

Present		Messrs J. Williams (in the chair), Wilson, Fleming,
			Currier, Ramsey, Clayton, Coates & Jackson.
			The Secretary being in London attending the meeting
			of the English Association.

Minutes		of last Meeting read & confirmed.

Account		for taxes amounting to £36.0.2 passed for payment.

Away Matches	Resolved that the Secretary be requested not
			 to undertake to arrange for any catering
			 when away with the team, except for
			 Players, Members of Committee & Press.

J. Whittle	It was reported that this old player of the
		club was married today, & it was resolved
		that the sum of £3.3.0 be voted to purchase
		a present for him, in recognition of his
		past services to the club.

Ground		The Ground Committee submitted plans for
		the improvement of the ground, which were
		approved of.

Teams		v Third Lanark, same as against Accrington
		with McGregor as reserve, to play in the event of
		Brady's ankle not being quite well, & with Parry
		as Umpire. The "League" team to play against
		Derby County on Saturday.
		v Hanley Town at Hanley on 4th Oct. Smalley,
		Dobson, Cresswell, Martin, R. Jones & Parry,
		Gordon, McGregor, Hammond, Murray & Farmer,
		with Godwin & Abbott as reserves.
EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
