Committee Meeting held Monday 22nd Sepr 1890
Present Messrs Barclay (in the chair), Wilson, Jackson, Coates, Currier, Brooks,
Clayton, Ramsay, Howarth, Stockton, Fleming & the Secretary.
Minutes of last Meeting read & confirmed.
Press Ticket Resolved that one be sent to the Umpire (Emmott & Co, Manchester)
Team v Accrington on 27th Inst. same as against Bolton Wanderers
v Hanley Town " " " Smalley, Dobson, Creswell, Martin, R. Jones,
Parry, Gordon, Abbot, McGregor, Murray & Hammond.
Admission tickets Resolved that members of the Committee shall have power to
introduce distinguished visitors to the ground & that they shall
be provided with Cards for that propose upon which the name
of the persons introduced shall be written. The Treasurer shall
make a report of the number used each week.
Association Resolved that the Secretary attend in London on Monday next re Geary.
Middlesbro Ironopolis Resolved that the Secretary's action cancelling this fixture on the
match 1st October be confirmed.
Accrington match Resolved that Messrs Brooks & Coates represented the Committee
on Saturday next.
Results of away Resolved that the Secretary be empowered to make arrangements
matches for sending half time results to the ground & full time to
the Sandon Hotel.
Notts County Resolved that the sum of £10 be offered to the L & N. W. R. for 20 tickets
match 1st Novr to Nottingham as an inducement for them to run an excursion
on that day. They to have all other tickets & arrangements themselves.
