Committee Meeting held Monday August 11th 1890
Present J. Houlding Esq. (in the chair) Messrs Barclay, Wilson, Stockton, Coates,
Ramsay, Howarth, Clayton, Williams, Fleming, Jackson & the Secretary.
Minutes of last meeting read & confirmed.
Accounts Resolved that Dr. Baxter's a/c be paid & that the players be instructed
in future not to go to other than the Medical Officer of the club, without
their first having the special permission of the Committee.
Resolved that Mr. Howarth's a/c £1.6.9 be paid.
Groundsmans wages Resolved that from this date he receive 21/- per week.
Captains Resolved that G. Dobson & G. Martin be elected Capn. & Sub. Capn. respectively
of the Everton team and A. Hannah & J. Holt Capn. & Sub Capn.
respectively of the Everton (League team)
Players Resolved that all be instructed to return on or before the 16th Inst.
Charity match Resolved that we give Bootle a match here with our League team
(if possible on 8th Sepr.) taking the Nett gate results for the object
of liquidating their debts.
Insurance Resolved that we insure the Stands etc for £500.
