		Committee Meeting held 17 March/90

		Present J. Houlding Esq. (in the Chair) Messrs
			R. Wilson, Jackson, Henderson, Fleming,
			Maxwell, Brooks, Coates, Ramsey, Currier,
			& Clayton.

		The Secretary was unable to attend, being
			seriously ill.

		Minutes of last meeting read & confirmed.

		Letters from Smalley in which he stated that
			he hoped to be ready to play after Easter
			were read & noted.

		Letters from Stanley C. C. requesting us to
			play a Match v. Preston N.E. for their
			benefit, was read. Secretary to reply
			that we cannot entertain the proposition,
			but that we would play a mixed team,
			of Everton against any local team,
			& leave the ground, on some week evening
			during April or May, for the benefit of
			Stanley C. C.

		Accounts Amounting to £50.3.0 were passed for payment.

		Drainage Mr. Ramsey presented a plan for
			the drainage of the ground, but it was decided
			to leave the consideration of it, over until
			next meeting, in order that Mr. Wilson may
			prepare & present to the Committee further
			plans.

		Letters from Geary read. Consideration to be

202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
