		Committee Meeting held February 3rd 1890

		Present J. Houlding Esq. (in the Chair), Messrs Wilson, Currier, Coates,
			Clayton, Maxwell, Ramsay and Molyneux.

		Minutes of the last meetings were read & confirmed.

		Accounts amounting to £71.2.2 passed for payment, including
			an item of £4.7.0 which will be refunded by Derby Cty.

		A. Dick sent a certificate stating that he was suffering from
			Rheumatism & could not appear before Committee,
			consequently his explanation was left over for
			another week.

		Match on 15th. It was resolved that the Secretary arrange a fixture
			on most advantageous terms possible.
		Glasgow Rangers
		Goalkeeper. Resolved that the Secretary take such steps as he
			may think necessary to engage Cox (late of Burnley)
			& make best terms possible, & if possible obtain
			his transfer from the Ass. at their next meeting.

		W. E. Barclay's letter was read & after consideration it was resolved
			that we offer him use of ground on 19th April for his
			Charity match & that he pay us the sum of £30
			towards our players wages.

		Burnley match. Resolved that Checkers be sent on Saturday next.

		Practise Ground. The Secretary & Capn. Hannah confer together as to the
			advisability of procuring a practice ground.

		Team for Burnley as last Saturday at Stoke.

202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
