			Meeting held January 20th 1890 at 8.30.

		Present Messrs Houlding, Molyneux, Jackson, Currier,
		Coates, Henderson, Berry, Clayton, Ramsey & Williams.

		The minutes of the two previous meetings were read & confirmed.

		Accounts to the amount of £47.18.8 were passed.

		Cain. The Secretary's arrangement with this player
		to let him terminate his engagement here at the
		end of March & paying his railway-fare home
		once in February & once in March, was confirmed.

		Chadwick. This player's statement that his verbal
		agreement with Mr. Howarth was that he should
		receive five shillings for each extra match after
		the first thirteen such was noted & was deferred
		pending communication with Mr. Howarth.
			As to signing this player for next year it
		was decided to offer him finally & as the highest
		the Com. would grant to him £3 per week during
		the playing and £2 per week during the off
		season - with no extras of any kind.

		West Bromwich Albion League match next Saturday.
		There being a possible clash between this match & a Cup Tie
		it was left to the Secretary to arrange with another
		club for next Saturday at Anfield, if necessary.

		Athletic Journal. A paragraph in this journal
		accusing the Everton Club of trying to get three
		players away from the Preston North End Club, &
		making other untrue statements was read & it
		was decided that Mr. Berry (Solicitor) should write

202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
