			Meeting held Monday Oct. 14th 1889
		Present Messrs Houlding (in the chair), Wilson, Currier,
		Brooks, Clayton, Williams, Ramsay, Jackson, Berry,
		Coates & the Secretary.

		The Minutes of the last meeting were read & confirmed.

		Accounts to the amount of £72.9.2 were examined &
		ordered for payment.

		Small accounts per trainer. It was decided that
		before ordering the Trainer consult a member of the
		Committee (Mr. Ramsay being specially mentioned)
		& get his sanction. This is to apply to players attending
		Baths.

		Correspondence. 1. Mr. Keats asking for the ground &
		players for a match for benefit of Stanley Club.
		The subject was deferred.
			2. W. Walton from Cornwall asking to play
		with Reserve Team. Given to Asst. Secy. for enquiries.
EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
