			Meeting held Tuesday Sept 10th 1889

		Present. Mr. Berry (in the Chair) & Messrs Molyneux,
		Currier, Coates, Ramsay, Clayton, Fleming, Williams.

		The Minutes of the preceding meeting were read 
		& confirmed.

		Accounts submitted were passed & signed.

		A letter from Mr. R. Wilson (member of the Comm.
		and away from home) & the several points considered.
		(a). Insurance of Players - It was decided to
		insure 24 players for the season for £2 a week each.
		(b). A. Dick - The Sub. Com. were instructed to
		offer A. Dick a benefit week day Match within
		a month.
		(c). Medical officer - Dr. Flinn was appointed
		medical officer for the season - Honorarium £10.
		(d). Stands & hoarding - Various suggestions
		were made & all referred to the Grounds Com.
		(e). Players failing to attend at station to go
		to a Match.- G. Farmer & J. Holt were ordered to
		appear before an adjourned meeting of this
		Com. on Friday Eveg. at 7.30.

		The Teams selected for matches on Sat. & Monday
		were: 1st - v. Burnley & v. Wolverhampton Wand:
		Smalley, Hannah, Doyle, Farmer, Holt, Weir,
		Milward, Chadwick, Geary, Latta & Parry.
		
		    2nd - v. Tranmere Rovers & v Aintree Church.
EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
