		Committee Meeting held Monday 2nd Sept. 1889
		John Houlding Esq.in the Chair.
		Messrs Coates, Wilson, Jackson, Brooks, Berry, Currier,
		Clayton, Molyneux & Ramsay.

		Minutes of previous meeting read & confirmed.

		Resolved that the following accounts be paid.

		Resolved that EFC and numbers be painted on each of the
		bags handed to players.

		Resolved that the Saloon Carriage be provided for away Matches
		for Players, Press & members of Committee only.

		The Secretary reported that members complained of not being
		admitted to ground with last years ticket until 1st October.

		Resolved that in accordance with the arrangement made
		at previous meeting, no person be admitted unless they
		produce the season ticket for 1889-90.

		Resolved that the players be insured & that Messrs, Wilson,
 		Jackson & Molyneux arrange the matter.

		Resolved that press tickets be issued by the Secretary to
		the Bootle Times, Mr. J. J. Egan, Athletic Journal & C. Hall

		The following gentlemen were elected members of the 
		club.
EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
