		Committee meeting held Thursday August 23rd 1889
		John Houlding Esq. in the chair.
		Messrs Watson, Williams, Brooks, Jackson, Currier, Molyneux.

		The Ass. Secretary stated that the meeting had been called
		to arrange for practise, as the players objected to go to Stanley.

		Resolved that the 1st & 2nd team have one or two practise
		matches next week.

		The Ass. Secretary stated that Hannah wished some member
		of the Committee to go up to Glasgow after him.

		Resolved that Mr. Currier & Doyle go on Friday night &
		see Groves & secure McLean.

		Resolved that complimentary Stand Tickets be sent to the
		following Gentlemen - Dr. Flinn, Sup. Walsh & Woods. Mr Orrell
		and that complimentary tickets be issued to Mr Bell 35
		St Georges Hill, Mr Aiken of Edge Hill and Detective Strettle
		also that Press tickets be sent to the L'pool papers & Mr Aickin
		as representing the "Football Field".

		Resolved that Mr Molyneux purchase an Ambulance Bag.

		Resolved that Mr. Barclay's resignation be accepted with regret.

		Resolved that Mr. Molyneux be asked to accept the position
		of Honorary Secretary.

		Resolved that Mr. Currier be appointed Ass. Treasurer.

		Resolved that the Treasurer & Secretary take the
		proceeds from the sale of Fixture cards.

202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
