		Present Mr. R. Wilson in the chair
		Messrs Ramsay, Brooks, Stockton,
		T. Marriott, Howarth, Fleming,
		Richards, Jackson and Barclay.

		Read and confirmed the minutes of
		last two meetings.

		Correspondence read re Mr. Sudell,
		Gordon and Ross.

		Resolved that the Secretary be
		instructed to hold Gordon to his
		agreement.

		Resolved that Ross be informed
		that it was the committee's wish
		that he continue to play for the
		club until the termination of
		his agreement.

		The Secretary read correspondence
		with Sunderland Albion who had
		guaranteed £35 for a match at
		Sunderland on the 6th inst. Four
		and a half hours after our team
		had left a letter arrived from
		their Secretary cancelling the fixture
		on account of the rainfall, and
		on application being formally
		made they also declined to pay
		the guarantee. It was resolved
EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
