Present Messrs Brooks, Richards, Jackson, Howarth, Ramsey,
Wilson, Stockton & Barclay.
Minutes of last meeting read & confirmed.
Letter read from Mr. Hallard.
Mr. Barclay moved & Mr. Jackson seconded that the
Treasurer be authorized to pay Messrs Bulcock the
sum of two hundred pounds. Carried.
Letter read from Sunderland offering guarantee of £40
for match on Shrove Tuesday, accepted.
Mr. Stockton moved & Mr. Jackson seconded that a
subcommittee of 4 be appointed to arrange for
players for next season. The subcommittee to report
progress at each meeting of the General Committee. Carried.
The following were elected members of the subcommittee
Messrs Howarth, Richards, Stockton, & Barclay.
Mr. Stockton moved & Mr. Richards seconded that J
Holt receive 35/- per week. Carried.
Mr. Howarth moved & Mr. Brooks seconded that the
Treasurer advance T Costley £5 to be repaid by
deductions from his wages at the rate of 7/6 per
week. Carried.
