1888		[Adjourned meeting held at the Sandon Hotel
		Friday 23 Nov 1888]

		Present Mr. R. Wilson in the Chair.
		Messrs Houlding, Stockton, Fleming,
		Howarth, Jackson, Barclay

		The Secretary reported that he and
		Mr. Stockton had attended the League
		meeting at Birmingham when it was
		decided to fix the positions of the
		Various club in League fixtures by
		wins and draws, a win counting
		2 and a draw 1 point. Also
		that a Sub Committee had been
		appointed to draw up rules for
		the future guidance of the League and
		report.

		Telegram read from Mr. Alcock
		announcing the suspension of Dick
		till 31st January 1889.

		A unanimous vote of thanks accounted
		to Mr. Molyneux for his disinterested
		and untiring efforts in assisting
		the committee and generally furthering
		the interests of the club.

		Mr. Wilson reported that for some
		unexplained cause the finance committee
		were unable to present a report or
		balance sheet.

		Mr. Molyneux's expenses re new members
				to be paid by the club.
EVENTS
202 The possibility of playing baseball at the ground was considered. The ground was felt to be unsuitable.
232 Photograph of players taken at Sunderland. In was agreed that each player should have a copy. The team names: 1st and 2nd team were adopted.
243 £100 to be paid to Mr Houlding towards the Club’s loan account with him.
273 Gordon had to promise to keep in proper condition to play football
274 12 medals were ordered from Vaughton and sons.
